Job Summary: The 2D Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually engaging and innovative designs across various media platforms. This role involves translating concepts into compelling visuals, working closely with the marketing and content teams to produce high- quality graphics that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Graphic Design:
o Develop creative concepts and design layouts for print and digital media, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, social media graphics, and website assets.
o Create and edit visual content such as illustrations, icons, logos, and other graphic elements.
o Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and project specifications.
2. Collaboration:
o Work closely with marketing, content, and other cross- functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet business objectives.
o Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance visual communication.
3. Revisions and Feedback:
o Revise and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring that the final output meets the desired standards.
o Manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping track of deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
4. File Management:
o Prepare and optimize design files for print production, ensuring that all technical specifications are met.
o Organize and maintain a library of design assets, templates, and project files for easy access and future use.
5. Research and Trends:
o Stay up- to- date with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.
o Conduct research on competitors and industry trends to inform design strategies and innovations.
6. Presentation of Designs:
o Prepare and present design concepts and drafts to stakeholders, articulating design choices and how they align with project goals.
o Make necessary adjustments based on feedback and ensure final approval before production.
7. Quality Assurance:
o Review final designs for errors or inconsistencies and ensure that the quality of the output is maintained across all platforms.
o Work with printers, vendors, and other external partners to ensure that printed materials meet design specifications.
8. Tools and Software:
o Proficiently use design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
o Explore new tools and software that could enhance the design process and outcomes.
9. Special Projects:
o Contribute to special design projects, such as packaging, exhibition displays, or product mockups.
o Support other team members with design- related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 2- 3 years of experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing 2D design work.
• Skills:
o Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
o Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory.
o Ability to create visually compelling and cohesive designs that align with brand identity.
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
o Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
o Knowledge of print production processes and specifications.
o UAE experience at lest 2 years is must
