Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail- oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with the ability to analyze financial data and generate insightful reports. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

⦁ Manage and oversee financial transactions and accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

⦁ Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

⦁ Conduct regular audits of financial data and prepare reports for management to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

⦁ Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and providing analytical commentary to support decision- making.

⦁ Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.

⦁ Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

⦁ Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and assist in the preparation of supporting documentation.

⦁ Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and systems to enhance productivity and accuracy.

Qualifications:

⦁ Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.

⦁ Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail and accuracy.

⦁ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

⦁ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
