#### **Job Summary:**

The Housemaid is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and common areas. Duties include cleaning rooms, making beds, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

#### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Room Cleaning:**

- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds and changing linens.

- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.

- Clean bathrooms and replenish toiletries.

- **Public Areas:**

- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and other public areas.

- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors.

- **Supply Management:**

- Replenish guest room supplies such as towels, toilet paper, and soaps.

- Restock housekeeping carts and closets.

- **Guest Service:**

- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.

- Provide friendly and helpful service to ensure guest satisfaction.

- **Health and Safety:**

- Follow health and safety regulations and guidelines.

- Properly handle and store cleaning supplies and chemicals.

- **Additional Duties:**

- Report any maintenance issues or lost and found items to the supervisor.

- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

#### **Qualifications:**

- **Experience:** Previous housekeeping experience is advantageous.

- **Skills:** Attention to detail, good organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong customer service skills.

- **Physical Requirements:** Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
