Your day to day

As a Mechanical Technician, you are required to promote the desired work culture around the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service of the InterContinental Hotels Group and the brand ethos.

Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs all mechanical and hydraulic - and diesel - powered equipment Skill- level requirements vary from basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to component replacement

Resolves motor, pump, conveyor and hydraulic problems

Shows expertise in working with team and independently

Complies with company safety guidelines and procedures

Repairs and performs preventive maintenance as per established standards

Ensures mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality

What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:

To have basic FLS and Electrical knowledge

Should be able to attend the basic guest room / meeting room complaints

Maintain the Hotel in your qualified trade to the desired standard

Liaise directly with departments regarding the completion of work orders and prioritise in order of guest satisfaction
