Operational Excellence Manager Job

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Operational Excellence Manager. In this role, you will be charged with driving cost, quality, productivity, cycle time, and customer experience improvements for Global Airports. Additionally, you will be responsible for the strategic partnership of certain services globally.

Your tasks include the implementation of the lean strategy and the shop floor management as well as the development and implementation of value- oriented improvements to the operational and administrative processes. To achieve consistent solutions, you support changes in the areas as a change companion and consultant. In addition, you look after the conception and realization of creative concepts alongside the implementation of workshops and trainings (including the Lean method). This role is in Dubai and will work closely with all these key functions.

What Will You Be Doing Every Single Day?

Lead and support the vision of the Leadership team by providing technical expertise in HOS, Lean, Six Sigma, and HUE (UX) to ensure Operational Excellence in the functions of Bid Management, Estimation, Operations and Service

Analyze business practices, and set the vision for the future

Organize and run meetings and workshops in order to ensure the agreement of all relevant partners to ensure smooth execution.

Carry out background research, produce reports, ensure preparation of briefing papers and findings

Interface and partner with internal functional leaders, other departments and different regional or global functions to ensure teamwork across the board

Collaborate with the regional teams to ensure the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while maintaining and controlling

Ensure that all Honeywell operating policies and procedures are implemented and followed during all phases of the project in accordance with HW procedures and policies

What Skills and Experience Will You Have?

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering

Validated experience in related profession.

Experience in project management and project controlling,

PM certification is an advantage (e.g. PMI)

Excellent social, organization and interpersonal skills appropriate to a multi- cultural and diverse working environment.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and autonomously

Strong problem solving skills that allow to dedicatedly anticipate requirements

The position works with multiple priority activities that require good coordination in multiple time zones and within different cultures

Possess a broad approach to change and not be set to one method of working

Ability to influence all levels of the business and support functions to drive adherence to the integrated management system

A desire to continually improve processes and motivate change. A confident, resilient personality

Confirmed ability to communicate at all levels across all internal and external partners involving strong relationship building skills

Excellent organization and planning skills

A well- presented, articulate and professional in your approach
