Job Summary: We are looking for an efficient and friendly Order Taker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately taking customer orders, ensuring a smooth and pleasant ordering process, and providing excellent customer service. If you have strong communication skills and enjoy interacting with customers, this position could be a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process customer orders over the phone, in person, or online.
Ensure that orders are accurately entered into the system.
Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items, availability, and specials.
Provide information about order delivery times and payment options.
Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen or relevant department.
Upsell additional products or menu items to customers.
Handle customer complaints or issues and escalate them to the manager if necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with other tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or food service is a plus.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Basic computer skills for order entry.
Attention to detail and accuracy in order- taking.
A friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment.
Working Hours:
