#### **Job Summary:**

The Watchman is responsible for maintaining security and safety on the premises they are assigned to. This role involves monitoring and patrolling the area, ensuring unauthorized individuals are not allowed access, and responding to any security incidents or emergencies.

#### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Security Monitoring:**

- Patrol the premises regularly to detect and deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.

- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify security threats.

- **Access Control:**

- Control access to the premises by checking identification and verifying credentials of individuals entering the premises.

- Ensure all visitors sign in and out, and issue visitor passes as necessary.

- **Emergency Response:**

- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms.

- Contact appropriate authorities and follow established procedures in case of emergencies.

- **Reporting:**

- Document and report any security breaches, incidents, or safety hazards.

- Maintain accurate logs of patrol activities, incidents, and visitors.

- **Safety Checks:**

- Conduct routine checks of doors, windows, and other access points to ensure they are secure.

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

#### **Qualifications:**

- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent.

- **Experience:** Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.

- **Skills:**

- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols.

- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.

- Good communication and observation skills
